Herdade da Amália

In the 60s, Amália Rodrigues acquired a beautiful Estate on the Alentejo Coast and built her refuge here.

Herdade da Amália is perched on the clifftop above the beach named after the timeless queen of Fado. The Fishermen's Trail also passes through the estate, along the Zambujeira do Mar–Odeceixe section.

Recently, this space was transformed to be used all year round as a small hotel with an approach that reflects the past, present and future, in an exclusive spirit of hospitality, where culture intersects with tourism.

A Herdade da Amália conta com cerca de 10 hectares, e nela encontra um moinho histórico de água com mais de 150 anos, um caso único em toda a costa.

In the gardens, you can rest and recharge your batteries, watch the sunset, listen to the constant sound of birds and ocean waves or even enjoy the organic garden that enriches the house's recipes.
