In the 60s, Amália Rodrigues acquired a beautiful Estate on the Alentejo Coast and built her refuge here.
Herdade da Amália is located at the top of the cliff, above the beach that was named after this eternal Fado diva. The Fishermen's Trail also passes through here, with the section Zambujeira do Mar » Odeceixe.
Recently, this space was transformed to be used all year round as a small hotel with an approach that reflects the past, present and future, in an exclusive spirit of hospitality, where culture intersects with tourism.
Herdade da Amália covers around 10 hectares and contains a historic water mill that is over 150 years old, a unique case on the entire coast.
In the gardens, you can rest and recharge your batteries, watch the sunset, listen to the constant sound of birds and ocean waves or even enjoy the organic garden that enriches the house's recipes.
