This space can easily be recognized as a small oasis in the long section Arrifana > Carrapateira of Historical Way, because in the middle of this trail hikers can enjoy a natural fresh juice with a typical Algarve snack to regain strength and continue the hike or choosing to stay in the charismatic accommodation: Barranco da Fonte.
Choosing to stay for a fuller meal, the options vary with the sea tide and the typically regional dishes will delight the diners.
From the famous vegetable or octopus cataplanas, to the fish stew, or the typical Algarvean seafood xerem or to the freshly caught fish from the coast, which is just a step away, all dishes are carefully prepared by Rui, owner of the 44.
In the end, do not leave without tasting the appetizing chocolate mousse, cream milk or almond pie with Algarve almond, so you will not lack the energy to complete the rest of this section!
