Weaving the living tapestry of Memory, the Installation Performance 'Acordar Memórias' reveals an immersive show that transcends time and unites the emotional fibers of the senior community of Aljezur. Within this enchanted space, we witness the resurrection of objects, transformed into narrators of times gone by.
As artisans of the past and present, the participants of the Entrelaçar Program intertwine traditions, knowledge and narratives through the fusion of artistic languages. Craftsmen of their stories, they transmute trivial objects into enchanted relics, revealing our elderly as guardians of memory, sacred threads that connect the past to the future.
To the sound of ancient rhymes chanted by iron silhouettes, we witness a poetic dialogue between the past and the present, between the visible and the invisible.
'Awaking Memories' is an immersive experience that transcends the boundaries of time. It is an intimate encounter with the essence of a community.
