Matheus Alcântara Trio

Matheus Alcântara is a young Brazilian musician, who lives in Alentejo, plays acoustic guitar since he was 16 and percussion, his repertoire includes Brazilian sounds, Portuguese indie rock and a mixture of folk and MPB. In 2021 he participated in The Voice Portugal, having won the jury with his interpretation of “Velha Infância” by Tribalistas. This show, promoted by the Municipality of Odemira, marks the end of the Open Week in the Parishes of Interior Sul, which runs from the 22nd to the 26th of May in the parishes of Luzianes-Gare, Santa Clara-a-Velha and Sabóia.
