FMM's programming encompasses the breadth of “world music” and transcends its borders. It opens to folk, jazz, alternative music, fusion and urban music. More than a “world music” or traditional roots music festival, FMM Sines is a festival that seeks real world music as it is made and lived in our time: mixed music, marked by contacts between artists from geographical and cultural backgrounds. different cultures, debtors of the movements of ideas and people that define contemporaneity.
