Vida na Vila

In Vila Nova de Milfontes, near the mouth of the Mira River, Vida na Vila reinvents the traditional houses of an Alentejo village, combining clean lines and southern light streaming through large windows, in an architectural project by Ark Studio.



Ideally located just minutes from the beaches and trails of the Rota Vicentina, you can enjoy this residential complex of four houses, arranged around a courtyard with a pool and a shared dining area. It's the perfect setting to relax and encourage social interaction, with common sense and respect for others.

Each house has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms on the upper floor, while on the ground floor, the kitchen and dining area blend into a spacious living room with a fireplace, facing the courtyard.



Vida na Vila combines simple decor with a love for ceramics and other crafts. Pottery pieces from the Alentejo interior, textile art by Marta Barros, Rita Sevilha, Rita Kroh, and Casulo, watercolors by Teresa Calado, cyanotypes from Da Terra Ao Papel, wooden chairs from Origem Comum, objects found on beaches turned into art by Veiga Artesanato, and ceramics from Caldas da Rainha add warmth to the clean, minimalist space.



The kitchen is equipped with a toaster, hand blender, stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine, and dishwasher. Upon request, one of the bedrooms can be arranged with two single beds. For weekly stays, a mid-stay cleaning is included, along with regular cleaning of common areas.



A light first meal with local and seasonal products is provided upon arrival, as well as beach towels in summer or a box of firewood in winter.



This accommodation is perfect for cycling and hiking holidays; you can arrange bike rentals before or upon arrival (with Aventura Activa or Mira Trails).



Upon arrival, you’ll find notes with tips and house rules. Make the most of your stay by alternating beach time with other activities that can be booked through local partners. Be sure to check in advance about the fantastic Rota Vicentina, upcoming events, and the region itself.

Each housing unit is 80 m² and accommodates up to a maximum of 4 people. For safety reasons and due to the architectural layout, only children aged ten and above are accepted.
