Miguel, prides itself on its regional identity, starting with its name, but especially marked by the seasonal local produce that they use in their kitchen, combining the traditional flavours of the land and the sea.
Ameijoas à Bulhão Pato (clams), Canja de Garoupa (fish soup), Arroz de Tamboril (monkfish rice), or Carne de Porco à Alentejana (pork with clams), accompanied by an excellent Portuguese wine, particularly one from the Alentejo, or a natural fruit juice, are just some of the specialities you can enjoy whether in the simple relaxing atmosphere of either the self-service or the restaurant. Alternatively you could opt for the esplanade with a view of the swimming pool, or if you prefer, use the take-away service to take a packed lunch with you and have a picnic.
