The legacy of a powerful anarchist, the blunt words of one of the biggest names in contemporary theatre, the music of one of the best bands of all time and the restless, provocative and always current work of Ana Borralho & João Galante.
Based on the text “You idiots should have stayed at home” by Rodrigo Garcia and the Radiohead classic - OK Computer: Exit music (for a film), Borralho & Galante raise the black flag of French Louise Michel to address the themes of oppression, resistance and freedom.
On stage, 10 performers highlight the role of women in shaping political and social movements, challenging their traditional representation in the public sphere. Audiences are encouraged to question the structures and systems that shape our society and to consider the potential of their own critical thinking as a driving force for change and resistance.
