Almaradentro is a 2023 co-production between Teatro Experimental de Lagos, the contemporary circus company Vaya and three acrobats from Algarve. It questions the distance from the realities of the interior and the coast of the Algarve, from abroad and from oneself, from what is outside and what exists inside. The piece proposes the use of five bodies as living witnesses of the Algarve's traditional identity, creating an open dialogue to question what we are and find new ways to integrate and relate different communities and origins.
