A Estrada Festival takes place along one of the most beautiful municipal roads in Portugal, Estrada Municipal 544, located in one of the regions with the lowest population density, where the green of the forest and the blue of the sea are the dominant spots in the immensity of the landscapes that can be seen from the festus line of Serra de São Francisco.
The 2023 edition, from August 9th to 12th, deepens and specifies the original and relevant concept of the event: the experience of a territory through a cultural program focused on music, along the road that connects Serra de São Francisco to the beach line of the Costa de Santo André, like a backbone between the Mountains and the Sea, meandering down the slope through the green of the cork oak forests and always with the blue ocean in the background.
Positioning itself as a new generation, innovative, ecological and integrating event, the festival has as its premises the itinerancy of the program throughout iconic places in the territory and the framing of its artistic proposals in the landscape, with the minimum possible visual noise and the maximum focus on the relationship with the spirit of each place.
