A journey to the wild side of the Sagres Peninsula, where every year thousands of birds fly by during their migrations.
A guide tour to specific places in this region, to observe some emblematic species of the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, such as the Red-billed Chough, the Little Bustard or the Peregrine Falcon.
During autumn migration, Sagres becomes a paradise for birdwatchers. Thousands of preys, of many species, cross this territory and are easily observed: Curb eagle, Bonelli's eagle, Short-toed eagle, Black kite, Egyptian vulture, Montagu's harrier, Hawk or frequent rarities, such as Eleonora's Falcon and the Imperial Eagle. The Black Stork or Griffon Vulture are also common in these region. The route also allows an encounter with seabirds and numerous passerines (eg, Tawny pipit, Blue Rock Thrush, Spectacled Warbler or the Dartford Warbler).
