The Alentejo International Theater Festival values the exchange of ideas between artists, creators, directors, actors, producers, programmers, playwrights, mayors, volunteers and public, very public. It is the biggest theatrical event in the south of Portugal, a region that occupies a third of the national territory, which gives visibility and opportunity to contemporary emerging structures. SYNOPSIS:
A prostitute from the underworld of Bogotá in the 1980s remembers her only client who, with his poetry, deserved her love and eternal memory. “Esperança”, its name (perhaps false), represents the hope of finding its poet again. June 30th | 9:30 pm | At Hay Flores in Istanbul
SYNOPSIS:
Brad Davis, along with Oliver Stone and the actor who writes to remember his own life's adventures, are in Istanbul. In doing so, they merge into the same scenario surrounded by today's fragile reality and the apparent and distant fiction of the mythical movie ""Midnight Express"". Meanwhile, a dozen characters decide to intervene and question the now – with their hot topics –, since the film's premiere in 1978. As almost always in any story, each one in his own time – Davis, Stone and the actor himself – will have to answer “as they know, as they can and, finally, as they want”.
