On April 21, at 9.30 pm, Beatriz Pessoa takes the stage in the auditorium of the Padre António Macedo Secondary School, in Vila Nova de Santo André, as part of the “C”extas de Cultura project.
Beatriz Pessoa is one of the most promising voices of the new generation of Portuguese music. She released his first EP, “Insects”, in 2016, followed by “EP II” in 2018. In 2021, she released her first full-length album, “Primaveras”, recorded in Brazil, in Rio de Janeiro.
She has written for performers as diverse as Cristina Branco, DJ Glue and, more recently, Margarida Campelo, and for theater shows. “PRAZER PRAZER” is the second feature by the Portuguese singer-songwriter. A set of songs written in Portuguese, with a firm identity at the intersection of Portuguese and Brazilian music, where pop sounds with indie traits, bossa nova and MPB go hand in hand.
