Presentation of the book "Uma vontade de Música: as Cantigas do Zeca", by Octavio Fonseca.
According to the author's words, the book is not intended to be a work of a scientific or journalistic nature, assuming Octavio Fonseca his purposeful lack of exemption, in order to "launch a challenge to the portuguese people who do not dare to deny the talent of José Afonso, but who do not understand that they have in their country one of the greatest figures of universal popular music".
The presentation session in "commented concert" format, with the participation of Filipa Pais (voice) and José Moz Carrapa (viola) proposes to complement the explanation that the author is producing throughout his speech, with the hearing of some of the songs he addressed, making clearer what is behind the lyrics of these songs, its meaning, its objectives and its importance in the panorama of the singer's work.
Free entrance but reservation is needed.
