Organized by Lions Club of Santiago do Cacém, with the support of the Municipality of Santiago do Cacém and LMS, the solidarity show with the Rancho de Cantadores of the village will take place on September 16th, at 9:00 pm, in the Municipal Auditorium António Chainho from Vila Nova de São Bento, whose revenue reverts to the pediatric wing of the IPO in Lisbon.
RANCHO DE SINGADORES OF ALDEIA NOVA DE SÃO BENTO
The Rancho de Cantadores de Aldeia Nova de São Bento, was born in April 1986. Heirs to a long tradition of the art of good singing, which has always been the prerogative of their village, which has long been recognized in the region as a “land of good singers. Of the various performances carried out, it should be highlighted, in Portugal on the most diverse stages, such as Cultulgest, Gulbenkian, Centro Cultural de Belém, Coliseums of Lisbon and Porto, Teatro Nacional de S. Carlos, Palácio de Belém and S. Bento, Lisbon Cathedral and Convent of Mafra. They participated in the Festival Terras Sem Sombra, 2016 in Madrid and 2017 in Seville. Several performances abroad: Brazil, Macau, Germany, Belgium, United States of America, Spain and France.
In his latest record work, a gold record, several professional singers participate: António Zambujo, Miguel Araújo, Luísa Sobral, Jorge Benvinda and Pedro Mestre.
