With the interpretative walking programs from South WalkKings, you will be able to explore the trails of the Costa Vicentina with experiences that go beyond the conventional. Each walk is a sensory journey, where every plant, rock, and footprint tells a story. Layer upon layer of history that has shaped the Algarve landscape.

Stages:

1st Stage: Ponta da Piedade (Lagos) - Praia da Luz (10 km)
In the first stage, the walker is immersed in the dramatic beauty of the cliffs and the vastness of the ocean. A true immersion into the grandeur of nature, with views extending as far as the eye can see.

2nd Stage: Praia da Luz - Salema (10 km)
Heading towards Salema, the path reveals hidden beaches and peaceful coves, where the sound of the sea accompanies the rhythm of the walk. A stage that connects us with the tranquility of the Vicentina Coast.

3rd Stage: Salema - Praia da Ingrina - Menir do Padrão (7 km)
In this stage, the walk takes us through the history of the region, with the Menir do Padrão standing as a testament to our ancestral heritage. The local fauna and flora are the main companions on this journey, while the landscape alternates between the green of the vegetation and the blue of the sea.

4th Stage: Praia da Ingrina - Porto da Baleeira (Sagres) (11 km)
Here, the trail unveils the contrast between towering cliffs and the calm waters of the bays. The story of fishermen and ancient navigators seems to echo with every step, while the ocean accompanies us to Sagres.

5th Stage: Porto da Baleeira - Cabo de São Vicente (4.5 km)
In the final stage, the walker is led to the westernmost point of Europe, where Cabo de São Vicente reveals all its majesty. The walk ends with a sunset at Finisterra, a magical place where ancient Greece believed the Gods of Olympus rested.
