Founded in June 1974 by Jos\u00e9 Vitorino, known as Tranquitanas, the restaurant began as a canteen and meeting place for the fishermen who lived in the village of Entrada da Barca, in Zambujeira do Mar. It was here that the fishing community gathered: the fish just brought in from the sea was prepared in the kitchen, and, among stories of the ocean, moments of rest and camaraderie were shared. <\/p>\n
More than 50 years later, its essence remains. The restaurant continues to work with local fishermen, favoring fresh fish and seafood from the coast, always respecting seasonality, while also offering a carefully selected range of meats and fresh products.
