Lisbon. You will be picked up by car from the train station and brought to the first accommodation where you will have dinner in the evening.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 2: \u00a0Cercal do Alentejo to Porto Covo (18 km)<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The first stage of the tour is from Cercal do Alentejo to Porto Covo which is a connection between the Fishermen`s and the Historical trail. After returning to Porto Covo you may relax at the wonderful beaches of Porto Covo before the transfer to your accommodation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Day 3:\u00a0 Porto Covo to Vila Nova de Milfontes (20 km)<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Starting in Porto Covo and hiking on the Fishermen`s trail to Vila Nova de Milfontes. You will pass the<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pessegueiro beach with an option to relax by the sea or have lunch in recommended restaurants. The luggage will be transferred to your next accommodation in Vila Nova de Milfontes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 4: Hiking-free day<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On hiking-free days you will have plenty of recommendations like additional hiking tours or visiting places like the beautiful town of Vila Nova de Milfontes. If you like to go to the beach we recommend several beaches around Vila Nova de Milfontes before staying a second night in Vila Nova de Milfontes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Day 5: Vila Nova de Milfontes to Odemira (25 km)<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This will be the longest hike within the program but each stage can be extended or shortened on request. Along the trail you will pass the Pego das Pias lake which is a nice place for having a rest. After reaching Odemira you will check-in at your next accommodation and have a dinner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Day 6: Hiking-free day<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On this hiking-free day we propose to visit the city of Odemira which is famous for craftswork and i. e. its chocolate factory. Or visit the cape of Sard\u00e3o, the only place on earth where storks nest in cliffs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 7: Odemira to Zambujeira do Mar (22 km)<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Today you hike on the Fisherman&#8217;s Path from Almograve to Zambujeira do Mar (22 km). In the morning you will be driven to Almograve and start the hiking stage here. The Cape of Sard\u00e3o awaits you on the way. It offers magnificent views of the beautiful coastline and is the only place in the world where storks nest on cliffs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Day 8: Hiking-free day<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Enjoy a hiking-free day today. It doesn&#8217;t matter whether you explore this stretch of coast by car or on horseback. The raw, wild beauty of the untouched coast will fascinate you again and again! And if you are sure that you have already captured the most beautiful view on your camera, you will be proven wrong every day!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 9: <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Zambujeira do Mar to Odeceixe (18 km)<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This hiking stage is one of the most beautiful ones of the Rota Vicentina. You will pass lots of amazing cliffs and beaches like the beach of Odeceixe. For the last two nights you will stay in Brej\u00e3o by having dinner on the first evening.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 10: Hiking-free day<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Choose again from several proposals how to enjoy the hiking-free day: going to the wonderful beaches or visiting the Odeceixe are some of our recommendations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 11: End of program \u2013 train ride to Lisbon\/Faro<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The owner of your accommodation will bring you to the train station where you will leave the Alentejo coast again and go back to Lisbon or Faro.
