Rota Vicentina is looking for volunteers!

Are you between 18 and 30 years old? Are you available between February and May 2020? Do you want to be part of an environmental conservation project? If the awnser is YES, take the opportunity to be volunteer at Rota Vicentina!

Rota Vicentina is much more than a pedestrian trail. It is a big network that connects people, territory and heritage, contributing to the sustainability of the region. And there are different ways to be part and get in behind the scenes of this project. One of them is volunteering.

In 2019, through the Life Volunteer Escapes – Volunteer with European Solidarity Corps for Activities in Portugal with Ecological Sense, the Association receives 3 young volunteers: Leonor, Francisco and Rafael.

Nature lovers, they developed for a year a lot of actions to combat invasive plants, maintenance of pedestrian trails and environmental education. In addition, they also created a set of materials on invasive plants, with which they were awarded by the Invasoras.pt project.

And because it doesn’t want to stop here, from February 2020 Rota Vicentina will receive new volunteers. And the submissions are already open!

To be part of this project, receiving a scholarship, you only have to send the application (with letter or video of motivation and resume) to volunteering@rotavicentina.com or fill out the form below.

Requirements: be between 18 and 30 years old in the start day of the volunteer period and respect the conditions of admission of the European Solidarity Corps. It is also a preferential factor to live in the Costa Alentejana (Portugal).
