Colos Nucleus

Colos nucleus with its sub-nucleus of Amoreiras-Gare

This nucleus runs exclusively through the interior countryside and is characterized by having a sub-nucleus in Amoreiras-Gare from which 2 additional routes start, both marked on the terrain.

You will travel mainly through rural and forested paths, with some small single-tracks, through a preserved and mostly wild natural landscape. You will come across numerous cork forests and pastures, moving through vast areas with minimal human presence. You will visit small hidden villages, some almost completely abandoned. The black route passes by Monte da Rocha dam.

Support for Cyclists

The Nucleus of Colos has a small service station located in the center of the village, at the starting point of the routes, where it is possible to clean and maintain bicycles, carry out minor repairs, as well as tune and fill tires.
Right next to the centers, you can find more information about the network in the Information Panel. In Amoreiras-Gare, near the CP station, there is also an Information panel. All tracks are available for download for anyone who wants to follow them with their GPS or APP Rota Vicentina.
