Situated very close to the small harbour of Canal, where the fishing boats of Vila Nova de Milfontes arrive, Porto das Barcas combines culinary creativity with traditional cuisine.
Gambas à Brás (Prawns), Alentejo “tibornas” (hot bread) with

goat cheese, local sausage with courgettes and cheese from the Azores or fish with the aroma of fresh mint are some of the flavors that promise to delight whilst recharging your batteries for the walk ahead.
In a relaxing ambience, with a simple and welcoming decor, on the section of the Fishermen’s Trail between Porto Covo and Vila Nova de Milfontes, hospitality and friendliness are part of the charm of this place, which serves a menu of mainly local produce with refinement.
